Lemon myrtle oil is a balancer of scalp oils, particularly useful where over production of sebum may be clogging the pores and follicles of the scalp. A natural, gentle antiseptic also considered to be regenerative in nature. Source details.
Clove oil is a powerful antiseptic and a very potent antioxidant (one of the most potent natural antioxidants ever tested, at over 100,000 on the ORAC scale). It can increase circulation and may be of optimal support for stimulating new hair growth.
Cassia oil prevents hair loss, moisturises the scalp, adds essential vitamins A and K, reduces inflammation, activates blood circulation and provides hair with a healthy shine.
Rosemary oil, when applied to the scalp, helps stimulate hair growth. Many people also claim that it can prevent baldness, slows greying, and can be used to treat dandruff and dry scalp.
Peppermint oil is rapidly becoming one of the most efficient and useful essential oils for treating the scalp and improving hair growth; it is an excellent natural oil for rejuvenating the hair follicles and increasing healthy hair growth. It is hypo-allergenic, meaning that it will not cause allergic reactions. Peppermint oil is one of the best ingredients to use for removing dandruff, as it will get rid of the yeast colonies and other germs that are causing them.
Goat’s milk is wonderful for people with dry or sensitive skin or conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. It is also perfect for healthy skin that wants to stay that way. Goat’s milk contains many vitamins but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue. Vitamin A in Goat’s milk is also known to reduce lines, wrinkles and control acne. Other vitamins present in Goat’s milk are B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12. The B vitamins are water soluble and play an important role in cell metabolism in the body, including regulating metabolism, maintaining healthy skin and muscle tone, enhancing the immune and nervous system function and promoting cell growth.
Goat's milk also contains vitamin C, D, E and K. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which is probably the most well-known of the antioxidants, reduces free radicals in the body. Vitamin D is most noted for its role in promoting calcium absorption. Small amounts of vitamin E is also found in Goat’s milk and shares the status of vitamin C as another of the better-known antioxidants, helping to prevent oxidative damage to cells and preventing cancer. Lastly, vitamin K which is best known as a blood-clotting agent and assists with a multitude of conditions; stretch marks, spider veins, scars, dark spots and stubborn circles under the eyes, as well as wounds and bruises.

This shampoo bar was designed for those who wish to increase hair regrowth and add much-needed nutrients to the scalp. We suggest moisturising your hair first with our Whitsunday Myrtle Healing Oil allowing it to sit for half hour on the scalp before washing with Cocoa Myrtle or Healthy Head Shampoo Bar for best results. Should you wish to condition your hair, then do so only applying to the ends of the hair avoiding the scalp area.
Should you require a leave in conditioner, then we suggest you make a mixture of 5 drops of Peppermint pure essential oil added with 10ml of almond, jojoba or coconut oil; your choice of carrier oil. Apply to the pads of your fingers and massage the scalp thoroughly.
