Cucumber oil has been hand picked for this face bar as cucumbers are extremely beneficial for overall health, especially during the summer since it is mostly made of water and important nutrients that are essential for the human body. The flesh of cucumbers is rich in vitamins A, C, and folic acid while the hard skin of cucumbers is rich in fiber and a range of minerals include magnesium, molybdenum, and potassium. Additionally, cucumber contains silica, a trace mineral that contributes greatly to strengthening our connective tissues. Cucumbers are known to heal many skin problems, under eye swelling and sunburn. Cucumbers also contain ascorbic and caffeic acids which prevent water loss, therefore cucumber is frequently applied topically to burns and dermatitis.

Goat’s milk is wonderful for people with dry or sensitive skin or conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. It is also perfect for healthy skin that wants to stay that way. Goat’s milk contains many vitamins, but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue. Vitamin A in Goat’s milk is also known to reduce lines, wrinkles and control acne. Other vitamins present in Goat’s milk are B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12. The B vitamins are water soluble and play an important role in cell metabolism in the body, including regulating metabolism, maintaining healthy skin and muscle tone, enhancing the immune and nervous system function and promoting cell growth.

Goat's milk also contains vitamin C, D, E and K. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which is probably the most well-known of the antioxidants, reduces free radicals in the body.  Vitamin D is most noted for its role in promoting calcium absorption. Small amounts of vitamin E is also found in Goat’s milk and shares the status of vitamin C as another of the better known antioxidants, helping to prevent oxidative damage to cells and preventing cancer.
