Lemon Myrtle Facial Toner

A toner is designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores.

Lemon Myrtle essential oil is wonderful for oily skin and acne. It's high level of citral makes it a powerful antibacterial, antiseptic, and antifungal agent. Avoid using on broken skin as it may give a burning sensation.

Toners can help close pores and tighten cell gaps after cleansing, thus reducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminants into the skin. It can even protect and remove chlorines and minerals present in tap water. 

Toners contain water and a humectant. Humectants help to keep the moisture in the upper layers of the epidermis by preventing it from evaporating. Users often apply a moisturiser after the toner has dried.

Toners are gentle to the skin, and are most suitable for use on dry, dehydrated, sensitive and normal skins.
