Magnesium Chloride when mixed with water gives an oil like texture, however it is not an oil, it is a mineral a highly important and vital essential mineral required for both human and animal life. It is a major mineral nutrient that occurs primarily in body fluids. Without Magnesium Chloride, the human body would be unable to maintain fluids in blood vessels, conduct nerve transmissions, move muscles, or maintain proper kidney function. As a major electrolyte mineral of the body, chloride performs many roles and is rapidly excreted from the body.
In addition to its functions as an electrolyte, chloride combines with hydrogen in the stomach to make hydrochloric acid, a powerful digestive enzyme that is responsible for the breakdown of proteins and absorption of metallic minerals and vitamin B12.

We have found that regular use of this oil just before bedtime will train your body to shut down when it needs to. Apply a few sprays to the soles of the feet and rub in well. Lavender is soothing to the mind and calming to the body.
The best application of this Magnesium Oil is applying 25 sprays to the torso area of the body or to the arms, legs and back daily. Massage in well and leave on for 20 minutes before either moisturising or washing off. There is no need to wash off if you prefer not to, however, some might find the oil to cause a slight tingle on the skin, this is nothing to worry about, however, it is necessary to leave the oil on for a minium of 20 minutes to allow it to be absorbed by the skin. Alternatively apply a few sprays to the soles of the feet where a tingle should not be felt, this might be best for children.
Another way to use this oil is in conjuction with our bathsalts . 1/4 Cup of essential oil bathsalts with 2-4 tablespoons of Magnesium Oil added to your bath water. This ratio should be halved for a foot soak.
If your body has enough Magnesium, it will tell you. If you apply too many sprays and your body says enough is enough, your stool will be loose. This is a visual way of knowing how many sprays you or your child can take in a day.
