Precious Myrtle

Did you know that essential oils may support the body’s own healing system, and when used correctly, may be able to take the place of conventional over-the-counter remedies?

Essential oils have a very small molecular size, which means that their properties are easily absorbed by the skin. The potency ensures that only a few drops are needed at a time, so a small bottle can last a few years when used sparingly.

Lavender is the most well known of the essential oils, and for good reason. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties which can reduce the healing time for scrapes, bites and stings. It is also a safe oil to use directly onto the skin without diluting with carrier oils. It is credited that Lavender is used as a ‘burn’ remedy along with reducing the pain associated with being burned, it helps prevent skin blistering whilst healing and hydrating the skin. Authors Comments

Our Precious Myrtle Oil is designed for those with sensitive skin and children. It’s beneficial for conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, scabies, warts, head lice, sores and sting bites. Rub the oil in circular motions and allow the oil to penetrate. We recommend using our soaps in conjunction with this oil, which contain essential oils and goats milk which is rich in vitamin A. For children we recommend using in conjunction with our Lavender Myrtle Bath salts.
